5 Things You’ll Love About The Partridge Inn- Augusta, Ga.
The Partridge Inn, Curio Collection by Hilton, has been recently renovated and offers upgraded features but has retained its classic southern charm. The hotel is centered in a prime location close to downtown Augusta and is perfectly positioned with overviews of the Savannah River. This hotel was built in 1910 and has been rated one of the most haunted places to visit in Augusta by various magazines.
Elegantly Modern Lobby
Once you enter The Partridge Inn, you are greeted with the classy intimate lobby. With modern flair and a touch of elegance. You can’t help but feel the urge to grab a drink and have a seat in the comfy chairs and watch the people checking in and out of the hotel.
There is also a cute mini snack store beside the lobby that offers a few snack options and complimentary coffee all day.
The sleek charm of the rooms we a nice surprise considering the age of the hotel. The rooms offer enough rooms for large and small families. Each room has a desk space, flat screen tv, night stands, plenty of closet space with hangers, and a nice size bathroom.
The serene pool is great for relaxing while the kids splash around. I did not have an opportunity to visit the pool but did see plenty of families enjoying the cool water to escape the scalding heat!
P.I. Bar & Grill Dining Options
The Partridge Inn, wine and dines us one evening at the P.I. Bar & Grill. The chef did not disappoint. I had the most amazing Red Velvet Waffles and Chicken as my appetizer. My entrée was the Ribeye, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Broccolini. All washed down with a Mojito special ordered from the bar.
Relaxing Roof Top Lounge
The rooftop lounge was one of my favorite features of this hotel. It was a pleasant surprise to go up the elevator to the penthouse deck and see the stunning views while sipping a cocktail. The lounge offers plenty of comfortable couches and chairs along with fire pit tables and strings of lights to offer a more intimate setting at night.
The Partridge Inn is a nice escape offering a bit of southern charm and class. The dining options were stellar, and the drinks were made nicely by the bartenders. The staff seemed pleasant and happy to accommodate when needed. The rooms at The Partridge Inn are elegant and the beds are some of the most comfortable I’ve slept in.
